On 16th February 2017, Thursday at 4.30 PM Thiru Edappadi K. Palaniswami sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu state along with the other 30 ministers in the Raj Bhavan Chennai.

The Portfolio for all the Council of Ministers was allotted by the Tamilnadu CM Thiru Edappadi K. Palaniswami in which Sengottaiyan is the new appointed minister apart from the other old ministers.

Union Budget of India 2017 Key Features, Highlights, Rail Budget New Trains List:

The Union budget of India for the financial year 2017-2018 is to be presented in Lok Sabha at 11 AM on 1st February 2017, Wednesday by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

The Union budget will be the fourth budget to be presented by the Narendra Modi Government and first time both the General and Railway Budget of India will be presented on the same day.

It was earlier expected that the Union budget of India 2017-18 might be postponed to 2nd February 2017 following the passing away of Lok Sabha Member of Parliament E Ahamed but Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan had asked Arun Jaitley to present the budget on 1st February 2017 itself.

The Highlights and Key Features of the Union budget of India for the year 2017-18 will be updated soon along with the Railway Budget information that includes new trains list.

The Railways of India always used to run special trains during the festival of pongal or makara sankranthi every year and this time in 2017 is not a exception.

The special express trains will run minimizing the heavy crowd in general commuting to nook and corner of the south Indian states and cities

For the year 2017 starting 1.1.2017 will have special, trains leaving from chengalpattu and reaching coimbatore and thus the passengers passing through the intermediate stations can take this spl ny 2017 pongal train.

LIke wise in the return direction the opposite train departing from coimbatore will reach chennai central in just 7 hours to drop the commuters picking this train.

The 2017 spl. trains are available on sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday across peak and non peak hours in the morning and evening time. These trains can be tatkal tickets also.

Similarly there is a train for trichy from coimbatore to reach on same day in both directions.

Every year the Pongal and Makar Sankranti festival special trains are announced by the Indian Railways for reducing the huge crowd to major cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Kanpur, Secunderabad, Kakinada, Chennai, Bangalore and much more.

This year the Pongal and Makar Sankranti 2017 festival is to be celebrated on 14th January 2017 and for the celebration Railways had announced the Special trains to major cities.

Here we had list the special trains for this Pongal / Makar Sankranti 2017 festival that had been recently announced by the Indian Railways.
