How to apply for Assam Voter Identity Card?

To make a quicker and easier registration method, the Chief Election Officer of Assam has launched online app for electoral ID cards. This will it easy for citizens to make registration wherever they are, at their ease. They no longer have to wait in long queues for application forms or verification processes, and can also track the status of their application online.

Applicants can visit the official website of the Chief Election Officer of Assam, which contains information and guidelines for all upcoming elections as well as registration and application processes.

How to apply for Assam Voter Identity Card?

  • Go to the official website of the Chief Election Office of Assam
  • Find click link “Download Forms” tab on your left screen to select the assam voter id form 6
  • Select the language preference like English, or Bengali or Assamese
  • Order to Print the form and write in the information asked.
  • After finished attach the documents needed like proof of age and address along with a passport sized photograph.
  • Mail the form either by post or in person to the closest election office.
  • Get the application number as receipt so as to track the status of your application.
  • Up on submission of the form, a Booth Level Officer or BLO will come to your house to check the records given there in the form.
  • Once the verification is successful you will get your voter’s ID card via post at the address indicated in your application form or may collect it in person from the concerned election office.
