How to check voter id in West Bengal Final Electoral Roll 2018?

The Election Commission today released the final electoral roll for the calendar year 2018 in the state of West Bengal after finishing its summary revision. The WB summary revision of poll rolls for 2018 was conducted in respect of two hundred and ninety one assembly constituencies, with exception to Kalimpong, Darjeeling & Kurseong. The election roll summary revision of the 3 ACs in the mountains could not be made because of disturbances there however it would be made up promptly by the Election Commission.

About 8,63,037 names were included in the final electoral roll across 291 assembly constituencies. Now the current voter rolls in the state rose from 6,67,29,914 to 6,75,93,851.

The final electoral roll for the bye-election in Uluberia LS Constituency & Noapara assembly constituency to be held on 29.1.2018 were already published on 2.1.2018. But there is continuously updation of the voter id enrolment until even after the last release of electoral rolls of 2018.

The enrolled voters might too apply for correction, deletion, shift in the electoral rolls.

The national voters day is scheduled to be celebrated on January 25, 2018 felicitating the deo, district election officers, ero, electoral registration officers, blo and booth level officers for their work in updating the sex ratio, enrolment of youth electors and cleansing of the electoral rolls.
