Retired Teachers and Staff Will Benefit on 7th Pay Commission:

Nearly 23 lakh retired teachers and university non-teaching staff will get the benefit of the decisions taken recently by the Narendra Modi government . In fact, the Central Government has decided to revive the pension of retired faculty and non-teaching staff who have worked in Central University and their colleges. This change was done by the government on the recommendation of the 7th Pay Commission . With the implementation of this decision, about 25 thousand existing pensioners of Central University benefit from 6 thousand to 18 thousand rupees.

Apart from this, the government’s decision will benefit from 8 lakh teachers, 15 lakh non-teaching staff who retired from State Public University and affiliated colleges. Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar tweeted this information in this regard. Javadekar wrote in his tweet, “Narendra Modi government has revised the retired faculty of Central University and other non-teaching staff pension according to the 7th Pay Commission.”

He wrote that this decision of the government will benefit 25 thousand existing pensioners. This step of government will benefit 8 lakh teaching and 15 lakh non-teaching staff. Apart from this, many state governments have promised to increase their employees according to the recommendation of Salary Pay Commission. But in many states, employees of different departments are incarcerated for the demand of salary as per the Seventh Pay Commission of the employees.
