The Chief Electoral Officer on behalf of Government of Meghalaya state gives the Voter Identity cards to all the qualified citizens of Meghalaya. All the nationals of India who are resident of Meghalaya province and the Meghalaya residents accomodating in overseas can do apply for Elector Id card of those age is 18 years or plus. Indian citizens who are of Meghalaya State and having home in international countries can apply for electorate Id as a foreign elector.

Who can give application for Meghalaya Voter ID card?

The candidate should be a resident of Meghalaya State.
Candidate’s Age should be 18 years or over as on 1.1.2018 of the applying year.
Indian nationals who reside in the state of Meghalaya State as well as abroad having no citizenship of a foreign country.
